Hello!
I'm back it's been awhile but I'm back in the bloggosphere and I'll get back to youtube tomorrow!
So that's the housekeeping out of the way.
So the growth of my hair has been the bane of my existence for the last year and a half.
For the last few years I have kept my hair quite short, with the length teetering at chin level.
Until I got sick of my short hair and wished for locks that even Rapunzel would envy.
For the last year however it feels like my hair has grown to a certain length and will not budge.
It just didn't seem to be getting longer.
On a trip to the hairdressers I asked my hairdresser what I could do. He told me that to fulfil my dream of luscious locks I would need to invest in a good quality shampoo and conditioner, and none of that stuff from the local supermarket.
For a month I have been using KMS california and I was quite impressed. However, on my recent trip to the hairdressers I discovered that they no longer stocked it and were stocking a new range of products. Qaba.
Qaba is a Melbourne based brand and is only available through selected salons. They are "100% pure & natural with 100% active ingredients and zero useless substances". The shampoo and conditioner are sulphate free. The hair range is universal, that is they do not manufacture different ranges for different hair types (e.g. dry hair, normal hair, etc, etc). So whatever your hair type is this product will work for you. They do however have a different shampoo and conditioner for blondes.
Among other things, what makes this product different is the oils. There are 11 essential oils to chose from and these oils are mixed in with your conditioner. The length of your hair will determine how much oil you use and it comes with an eye dropper. The oil that I have at the moment is 'Iliso' which is lemon. Other oils inlcude 'Yako' which is rosemary, geranium & bergamot, and 'Zola' which is lavender and lemon.
The products are not cheap but if it delivers in its promises of "extreme shine & lustre for healthier hair" and "encouraging hair growth" then I will be happy to pay.
I'll keep you posted in a few months to let you know how I get on.
For more info on the product just go to qaba.com.au
